I guess it’s just the style of the music, but you can’t hear any of the rebellious lyrics in this kind of mix except for the title phrase. It should be possible to hear what the singer is actually saying. As a songwriter, I try to get band mates and sound engineers to work to assure that my lyrics remain out front in the mix because they are that important.

Great spirit of resistance! However, you can’t hear any of the singer’s lyrics except for the title phrase. As a singer-songwriter and band leader, I try to get the band and the sound engineer to work together to insure that the lyrics stand out in the mix because they are that important. Since this is Jello Biafra there probably are some very well written lyrics to be heard.
